Passage Migrant
Migrates in flocks that pass through Asakawa River basin in spring and autumn. They are observed during our annual Survey of Summer Bird and our Migratory Flight Observation of Grey-faced Buzzard and Oriental Honey-buzzard conducted between late September to the beginning of October every year. The species is slightly smaller than Black Kite, and, during its flight, its head looks slender compared with that of other species.
