No.499 Zitting Cisticola Cisticola juncidis

L=12.5cm

Rank : 2
Resident
Although the species is a common resident, we notice the species more often in summer than in any other seasons because of its song: a series of whistling hit-hit-hit as it ascends, and chat-chat-chat-chat as it descends. In winter, however, the species is inconspicuous because of its low-profile plumage and lack of song.
